Dick Dunn

Dick Dunn was working as the assistant city manager in Oak Park, Illinois, when he got the job as Oberlin's city manager following the resignation of Fred Weisbrod. Dunn's administration began the Arino Street Industrial Park and the Parsons Road water treatment plant. Donald Marquis replaced Dunn, who left in 1963 to pursue businessopportunities. Dick Dunn returned to Oberlin to work as president and CEO of Gilford Instruments, and, beginning in 1983, as the vice president of development and alumni affairs for Oberlin College. He retired from the position in 1992.
