Collaborated with other science librarians in Ohio to present a poster at the 2012 American Association for the Advancement of Science Meeting (AAAS), on digitization projects in the sciences among the Five Colleges of Ohio. As liaison from the American Library Association to the AAAS 2011-2017, I organized and moderated sessions for science librarians at the AAAS annual meetings. Participated in the panel "Librarians are a Force for Science: Science Communication and Science Literacy" at the American Library Association Annual Conference, June 2018.

Statement:
Feel welcome to contact me when working on science research papers, or with any question about using the science library. Science literature databases used in conjunction with bibliographic management software can streamline your library research process greatly. An undergraduate degree in science is excellent preparation for graduate work in library and information science, leading to a career in science librarianship. Please talk to me if you'd like to know more.
